This charger is rated for use in Class I, Division 1 hazardous locations and carries a NEMA 4X rating. This charger accepts 230V AC input and provides 12V DC or 24V DC output.
TheEXP-BCHR-230-3X0.75-25A-RCH-SW-ID explosion proof battery chargeris rated for use in Class I, Division 1; and Class II, Division 1 hazardous locations. This unit is made of cast aluminum and offers maximum charging amps of 25 amps and maximum starting/boost amps of 200 amps. This charger is compatible with wet cell (flooded), gel cell, calcium, lithium, AGM, enhanced flooded, and maintenance-free batteries and is designed for batteries up to 230 aH (115 aH for 24V).
Larson Electronics' explosion proof battery charger has a three-way switch designed to set the unit in either Off, Slow Charge or Starting Charge mode. A green indicator light alerts operators when the battery is charged on the slow charge setting. This unit has two 3/4" NPT hubs, one for bringing line-in power to the unit and one for line-out power to the batteries. Suitable applications include battery charging, battery maintenance and repair, and can be used in combustible work sites and flammable environments.
