Saudi- Yemen welcomes King Salman's call to hold an extraordinary summit in Makkah

Aden, May 19, 2019, SPA -- The Republic of Yemen today welcomed the call by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for convening an extraordinary summit in Makkah on May 30, 2019 in the backdrop of the challenges facing the region and their repercussions on the regional and international peace and security amid the Iranian threats and their subversive militia arms used to launch terrorist attacks on Saudi oil tankers as well commercial vessels near the UAE territorial waters.
The Yemeni News Agency quoted the Yemeni foreign ministry's statement as expressing the Yemeni government's steadfast support and solidarity with the steps taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia being exerted to preserve the security and stability of the region and enhance the joint Arab interests.
