Poland steps up efforts to upgrade football


(MENAFN) Poland is stepping up its efforts to upgrade the sports sector, announcing that it was completely prepared to allocate some investments in football renovation.

Government of Poland, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki declared, will launch new training facilities and stadium safety initiatives.

Those new plans are in a bid to demonstrate commitment to the "beautiful game," the Polish prime minister emphasized.

Addressing reporters, the prime minister stressed: "we want football to be the king of sport. We want a Polish club to play in the Champions League and be able to win against the best."

Morawiecki further added that the level of training quality is the foundation of success in football.
