(MENAFN) UAE news agency WAM declared that a crew of health inspectors in one of the emirates have captured up to 76,560 packets of unlisted drugs, alongside 136 pharmaceutical products, which were hidden in poor state in a house.

The ministry has been informed of a large quantity of medicine boxes, which were being delivered to an apartment by a vehicle that carries a medical company's name, according to Dr Amin Hussein Al Amiri, assistant undersecretary for the UAE Ministry of Health's Public Health Policy and License Sector.

Crew members including the ministry, and police, arrived at the site, observed it, and then broke into the apartment.

The crew captured all the medicines in the block and handed them to a laboratory for quality check.
