(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) President Maithripala Sirisena has decided to pardon over 760 prisoners to mark Vesak on Saturday.
A special ceremony will be held at the Welikada Prison Grounds on Saturday to pardon the inmates.
Among those set to be released are around 28 female detainees.
