(MENAFN) Profit of Kuwait Finance and Investment (KFIC) from January to March 2019 jumped 243 percent on annual basis to stand at USD886,427.
In a statement, the Kuwaiti company revealed that this is compared to the USD258,593 of profit witnessed a year earlier.
KFIC explained that this boost is driven by hikes in investments as well as revenues recorded in asset management and brokerage commissions.
It further confirmed that during the first quarter, its total operating income climbed 81 percent to reach KWD 2 million.
