(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 15 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, accompanied by Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, visited the diwaniya of 'Nabati' (vernacular Bedouin) poets on Wednesday evening.
He was welcomed to the new building of the diwaniya (traditional lounge) by Minister of the Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and Advisor to the Amiri Diwan Mohammad Dhaifullah Sharar, as well as board chairman and members of the Nabati Poets' Diwaniya.
His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed to the audience the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
He extolled the role of Nabati poets in conserving the heritage of the country and the cultural identity of the nation.
He expressed the best wishes for the country under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir - the Humanitarian Leader.
