Amman, May 14 (Petra) -- The Palestinian National Council (PLC) Tuesday addressed international and regional parliamentarians as it marked the 71st anniversary of the Nakba in 1948 that was wrought by Zionists who committed atrocities, killing 15,000 Palestinian and displacing half of the population.
The PLC sent cables to more than 11 Arab, African, European, Latin and international parliamentarian unions, underscoring that the catastrophic upshots of the Nakba are still manifest to this day as new attempts aim at denying the Palestinian people their rights to self-determination, return and statehood.
