(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) in collaboration with the Apple service provider in the sultanate is recalling a certain type of three-prong AC wall plug adapters manufactured between 2003 and 2010.
The recalled items may sometimes break and create a risk of electrical shock if exposed metal parts are touched, stated the authority.
Affected three-prong wall plug adapters are white, with no letters in the inside slot where it attaches to an Apple power adapter.
New and safer adapters are white with grey on the inside part. New plugs have a dimple on either side to make pulling out easier.
