Iran: earthquake shakes Kermanshah


(MENAFN) A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck Ezgele region in Iran's western Kermanshah province, close to Iraq border, at 14:58 a.m.

According to Iranian Seismological Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was at the depth of 8 km, 34.847 degrees north latitude and 45.762 degrees east longitude.

There have been no casualties reported till now, according to official IRNA news agency.

The assessment teams are at the location of earthquake to evaluate the possible destruction.
