Doha: The Qatar Nanny Training Academy (QNTA), a member of Qatar Foundation, recently welcomed Indra Iskandar, Secretary-General of the House of Representatives of Indonesia, along with a number of delegates, to its headquarters in Duhail.
The delegation was received by Hessa Al Mansouri, General Director of QNTA; Ghaniya A Saboubi, Academic Director; Sahar Bakri, Official in Charge of Recruitment Office; and Kholoud Al Shaikh, Administrative Coordinator.
The high-level visit marks the culmination of the efforts undertaken by QNTA to create new recruitment opportunities through a constructive collaboration between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Indonesia.
Iskandar, said, 'I am impressed with the professional dedication that the QNTA has. It reflects the level of keenness that the State of Qatar has in the field of human resources development and its commitment to raising children and promoting Islamic values, as well as the national language, which are the main elements to preserve national identity. I hope that Indonesian women can soon join this programme to be qualified nannies in order to contribute to the development efforts in Qatar,
Al Mansoori, said, 'By welcoming the Indonesian parliamentary delegation, QNTA seeks to create a diversification opportunity in terms of human resources scope based on the requests of Qatari families. People in Qatar have extensive experience dealing with nannies from Indonesia with a high-rate of satisfaction and reliability regarding working with children in the field of integrated education, proper upbringing based on the values of Islam, and care for the Arabic language. At QNTA, we choose applicants carefully by following high standards, such as speaking and writing Arabic.
The delegation toured QNTA's building and were briefed on the progress of the educational process and academic curriculum. They also visited the departments of specialised training such as children's routine care and infants care; Qatari heritage and arts; the reading room, library, computer lab, and the recreational building.
The visit concluded with agreements between QNTA and the Indonesian delegation on ways to strengthen the mutual relations.
