(MENAFN) Local authorities declared that over 57 troopers have fallen ill by suspected food poisoning at the military facility of the National Guard of Ukraine in the country's western Lviv region.
The troopers, who revealed the symptoms of digestive troubles, were taken to hospital in non-life-threatening state, according to the Western Territorial Office of the National Guard.
It added that at least 300 people ate food at the canteen of the military facility and it was not instantly determined what was behind the poisoning.
It confirmed that a probe into the incident is ongoing.
