(MENAFN) Qatar explored with Turkey means to strengthen bilateral relations and collaboration while addressing prospects of forming partnerships between the two sides.
Talks were held between Qatar Chamber officials and a Turkish trade delegation consisting of representatives from seventeen firms working the mining, iron and steel fields.
Trade between Qatar and Turkey last year registered a significant 85 percent boost to stand at USD2.4 billion, from the previous year's USD1.3 billion, unveiled Qatar Chamber First Vice-Chairman Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Towar Al Kuwari.
Al Kuwari added that the two countries enjoying growing ties in various areas, including investments, as they make efforts to deepen their economic and commercial ties.
