UAE- Abdullah bin Zayed meets British Foreign Secretary

LONDON, 25th April, 2019 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt have reviewed here the prospects for further advancing the privileged relations between the two friendly countries across all fronts.

The two top diplomats also discussed an array of regional and international developments of common interest, with particular emphasis on the situation in both Yemen and Libya.

During their meeting, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah, now on an official visit to the United Kingdom, underlined the longstanding relations between the UAE and UK, with the British minister sharing identical views on the importance of growing bilateral relations across various fields.

Hunt hailed the prestigious status boasted by the UAE at the global scene, which he attributed to the prudent policies adopted by the country's leadership.

Attending the meeting was Soliman Hamed Salim Al Mazrouei, UAE Ambassador to UK.
