Myanmar decries deadly Sri Lanka bombings


(MENAFN) Myanmar expressed on Thursday its deep denouncement to deadly terrorist attacks which struck several churches and hotels in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka's president and prime minister received a letter from Myanmar president and the state counselor, voicing condolences to the tragic attack.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry confirmed that Myanmar is completely dedicated to the fight against terrorism and violence.

On Ester Sunday, Sri Lanka was struck with a number of bombings, causing over 359 people to lose their lives and inflicting almost 500 others with injuries.
