Turkey launches air attacks against PKK terror positions in N. Iraq


(MENAFN) On Thursday, Turkish air raids struck PKK terrorist positions in northern Iraq, according to the National Defense Ministry.

The Turkish warplanes completely damaged weapon positions, shelters, and ammunition depots used by PKK terrorists in the Gara regions, the ministry tweeted on Twitter.

It has not provided any details related to the number of "neutralized" terrorists during the raid.

Turkish government usually use the term "neutralized" in their statements to indicate that the terrorists in question either surrendered or were murdered or arrested.
