New dollar rate set at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange daytime session

The weighted average dollar rate at the daytime session of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) on April 24, 2019 amounted to 378,77 tenge, Trend reports with reference to the exchange data.

KASE states that at the day trades in US dollars the minimum rate was at the level of 378 tenge per dollar, the maximum rate stood at 379.10 tenge and the closing rate totalled 378.85 tenge.

The volume of trading in US currency amounted to $86.596 million and the number of currency transactions stood at 215.

In the exchange offices of the Nur-Sultan city, the maximum selling rate of the dollar is 379.5 tenge, while in Almaty it is 380.7 tenge.

Weighted average rate of the US currency as a result of both the morning and afternoon sessions was at the level of 378.56 tenge.

The official exchange rate set by the National Bank as of April 24 is 377.33 tenge per $1.

On April 25, proceeding from the current procedure for predicting the official rate, it will be 378.56 tenge per $1.
