Turkey launches airstrikes in against PKK/YPG in Hakkari


(MENAFN) Turkish air attacks struck PKK/YPG terrorists trying to sneak into vicinity of a military base in southeastern Turkey, security sources affirmed on Wednesday.

Turkish warplanes hit terrorists in Turkey's southeastern Hakkari province - bordering Iraq - where four soldiers had lately been martyred and six others wounded during raids against the PKK/YPG.

In its over 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK - considered as a terrorist group by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU - has been responsible for the deaths of approximately 40,000 people, including women and children.
