(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) has begun the naval drill 'Asad al Bahar', which will continue till May 3.
The exercise under way at the Said bin Sultan Naval Base, began with a briefing about events and activities of the drill.
The participating officials will take part in various activities and competitions during the drill. The drill comes within the framework of RNO's annual training plans to share expertise and sustain the readiness levels of its fleet and personnel in various fields.
The programme is in line with the national tasks.
