(MENAFN) On Monday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov encountered with Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanaei in Moscow.
Both sides discussed on the 2015 nuclear deal, named as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, and the re-imposition of US' one-sided sanctions against the Islamic Republic since last November.
The diplomats also conferred means of enhancing bilateral economic relations.
Earlier in the day, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov had also debated issues linked to Iran nuclear deal and the Syrian crisis over the phone.
