(MENAFN) Qatar took part in a massive two-day conference on women empowerment launched April 16-17 in Beirut under Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri.
"Women Leaders & Health: Empowering women leaders in innovation, medical education and healthcare delivery" was joined by Qatar Chamber Board Member Ibtihaj Al Ahmadani.
Arab International Women's Forum (AIWF) coordinated the event in cooperation with the American University of Beirut (AUB) and the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS).
Al Ahmadani conveyed satisfaction in contributing to such a crucial event, one that underlined the important part women take in all areas, mostly in health and academic fields.
