Canada: 3 professional mountaineers die in avalanche

(MENAFN) Three professional climbers have been discovered dead after an avalanche at Canada's Banff National Park.

Austrian climbers David Lama, aged 28, and Hansjorg Auer, aged 35, and US citizen Jess Roskelley, aged 36, tried to reach the east face of Howse Peake's peak.

The disappearance of the group was reported last Wednesday and later supposed dead, however recovery missions were slowed down by weather conditions

The men were part of a group sponsored by outdoor clothing line North Face.
