Iraq sends 4 PKK terrorists nabbed in operation to Turkey


(MENAFN) As many as four PKK terrorists were brought to Turkey from northern Iraq after they were arrested in a raid, security sources emphasized.

The terrorists were transferred to Turkey on Thursday, the sources affirmed speaking on condition of secrecy due to restriction on talking to the media.

The terrorists named as .K. (34), M.K. (21), A.O. (20) and K.I. (16) were operating in Syria and Iraq, the source affirmed.

In its over 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK - considered as a terrorist group by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU - has been responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 people, including women and children.
