(MENAFN) Aref Nuri the spokesman for provincial government declared that 9 militants have died as 10 hostages have been freed after the Afghan security forces raided a Taliban hideout in Qarabagh district of the eastern Ghazni province on Monday.
The official confirmed that the security forces hit a Taliban hideout in Fatihullah village of Qarabagh district early Monday morning and released 10 people who had been held as hostages by the Taliban militants illegally in a container.
Five more militants have been nabbed in the operation, as an evacuation mission is underway, according to the official.
