Amman, Apr. 22 (Petra) -- The 14th Congress of The Arab Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation (ASNRT) and the 17th Annual International Conference of the Jordan Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation (JSNRT) will kick off Wednesday.
The 2nd Educational Course of the International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA) will also take place on the same day, under the title "Major Care for Small Kidneys."
President of ASNRT and JSNRT Mohammad Ghnaimat stated that the conference, organized by the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE), focuses on Jordanian nephrologists.
He said 500 physicians from 18 Arab and Foreign countries will participate in the four-day symposium to discuss the latest breakthroughs in the treatment of kidney diseases and kidney transplant around the world, the exchange of expertise, and holding workshops and scientific lectures.
The topics covered include diabetes and diabetic kidney disease, hypertension, clinical nephrology and chronic kidney disease.
