Kenya convicts deadly blasts in Sri Lanka


(MENAFN) On Sunday, Kenyan President Uhuru Kennyatta convicted a series of explosion attacks in Sri Lanka that murdered over 200 people and wounded more than 450 others.

In a statement released in Nairobi, Kenyatta urged the world to unite in the combat against worldwide terrorism.

"On behalf of the Government and the people of Kenya and indeed on my own behalf, I wish to convey our deepest condolences and sympathies to you, your esteemed Government, the families of the victims and the people of Sri Lanka," President Kenyatta emphasized in a message to his Sri Lankan counterpart, Maithripala Sirisena.

Several explosions whci hit Sri Lanka on Sunday hace killed 207 people while injured over 450 others, Sri Lankan police affirmed.
