(MENAFN) Central China's Hunan Province showed foreign trade increase 41.3 percent year-on-year to USD12 billion in the first quarter of 2019.
Exports increased 60.4 percent year-on-year to 54.2 billion yuan while imports grown 13 percent to 25.8 billion yuan, according to Changsha Customs.
Its trade with the Belt and Road nations rose 55 percent year-on-year to 21.7 billion yuan as it embraced the Belt and Road Initiative to enhance economic and trade collaboration with these nations.
Its trade with the Netherlands, India and Chile increased 91 percent, 90.8 percent and 160 percent, respectively.
