ABU DHABI, 21st April, 2019 (WAM) -- The UAE and Canada are exploring cooperation in the military and defence sectors.
Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, received on Sunday, Harjit Singh Sajjan, Canada's Minister of National Defence, who is currently visiting the UAE. During the meeting, held in Abu Dhabi, the two sides discussed means to develop cooperation between the two countries.
Al Bowardi and Sajjan also reviewed military and defence sector ties between the UAE and Canada. They exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, and current regional and international developments.
The meeting was attended by senior officials and officers of the Ministry of Defence, along with the visiting delegation accompanying the Canadian minister.
