(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia has thwarted a terrorist attack north Riyadh, murder four assailants, Al Arabiya TV reported on Sunday.
The attack hit the General Directorate of Investigation Centre in al-Zulfi suburb about 250 km north of Riyadh. Sources emphasized to the TV channel that the assailants carried machine guns, bombs and Molotov cocktails.
The Kingdom reported early this month the death of two terrorists and the detention of other two while prevention a try to evade a security checkpoint in the Eastern Provence.
A number of civilians and police personnel were wounded in cross fire.
