(MENAFN) US authorities have nabbed an alleged member of a militia that has been blocking migrants in attempts to sneak through the US-Mexico border.
Larry Mitchell Hopkins, aged 69, was arrested in New Mexico as a felon in possession of a weapon.
The incident took place just days after footage revealed militia members holding dozens of migrants as captives in the desert.
The outfit, United Constitutional Patriots, has been denounced by civil rights groups and local officials.
