(MENAFN) Eleven people have died as eight civilians were injured after attackers wielding arms, grenades and suicide bomb jackets raided an 18-story government office building in the central of Afghanistan's capital of Kabul on Saturday.
Afghan Ministry of Interior Affairs declared that the death included 4 civilians, three security force members and four assailants.
The attack on Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) was launched at about mid-day and finished after five-hour clashes and bombs.
The elite Afghan Special Forces have saved about 2,800 workers and visitors from MCIT building and the nearby Ministry of Information and Culture building.
