Lebanon urged to tap into Arab markets through Syria




(MENAFN) Lebanon ought to join hands with Syria in order to tap into Arab markets with an aim to achieve an economic rebound, affirmed Lebanese Minister of State for Foreign Trade Hassan Mourad.

Minister Mourad made the call during an inauguration ceremony of a tourism and shopping festival in Tyre city.

According to the Lebanese minister, "we should cooperate and communicate with our brothers, the Syrians, to facilitate the export of Lebanese products through the Syrian borders to the rest of the Arab world."

Mourad further highlighted the commitment of citizens to join efforts for the return of the Lebanese contribution to exporting high quality goods to other countries.
