Qatar- QISH's Autism Awareness Walkathon

The Qatar Institute for Speech and Hearing (QISH) recently organised its 4th Annual Autism Awareness Walkathon at Al Bidda Park.

This year's walkathon was a demonstration of QISH's will to help individuals with autism by inviting Qatari Society to raise the slogan ‘Help increase understanding and acceptance'.

Many persons from Qatari society extended their support to QISH. Chairman Sheikh Jassim bin Thamir Al Thani inaugurated the event. Representatives from the Ministry of Interior, Fahad Ali Al Naimi, Majid Al Malikhi, Sawad Al Dahab, and Qatar Society for Rehabilitation; Special Needs Centres attended. Autistic children and parents, teachers and students from Bhavans Public School, Shantiniketan Indian School, Ideal Indian School, MES Indian School, Noble International School, Olive International School, Birla Public School, Philippine International School, Rajagiri Public School, Family Cultural Centre, VAQ, Venom Strikers attended.
