The Institute of Internal Auditors Qatar (IIA) is all set to host the 6th National Conference from April 28-29 at Hilton Doha.
The conference with the theme 'Taking the lead endeavours to identify how audit through its disciplined approach and objectivity will assist Companies and the state of Qatar in reaching the first pillar of Human development under the Qatar National Vision 2030.
Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani, President of the State Audit Bureau, will deliver the keynote address as a part of the opening ceremony. The Minister of Finance, H E Ali Shereef Al Emadi, will be the guest of honour.
'The country has developed a compelling vision and is dedicated to achieving the goals set out under the four broad pillars of Qatar National Vision. IIA Qatar is committed to assist in this goal achievement. The conference is enriched by twenty international speakers over two days covering five workshops and ten individual presentations.
The attendees are expected to imbibe the necessary knowledge and skills that can be practiced in their respective workplaces, Christain Adonis, Conference Chairman said. 'We expect about 300 participants at the conference and workshops.
