OSCE consults Turkmenistan on border security issues

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) held seminars in Bratislava on border security, border control and introduction of biometrics, Trend reports with reference to State Migration Service of Turkmenistan on April 19.

The event was attended by authorized representatives of Turkmenistan, the news report said. At the seminar, issues of regional cooperation to eliminate border risks were discussed and presentations on software technologies and biometric information in border management were made.

Representatives of Turkmenistan also participated in the meeting on combating human trafficking conducted by OSCE in Vienna.
