(MENAFN) The General Administration of Customs said China has imported more major commodities in the first quarter of this year.
The imports of crude oil increased 8.2 percent year on year to 121 million tons, while that of refined oil went up 5.8 percent to 8.72 million tons in the same period.
Nearly 24.27 million tons of natural gas were imported, up 17.8 percent from the same period last year.
However, the country's soybean imports declined by 14.4 percent to 16.75 million tons.
