(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, April 15 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Mohammad Al-Khudr met Monday with visiting Chairman of Pakistan's Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Hayat, discussing issues of mutual interest.
The meeting tackled issues of common interest mainly military aspects, and ways to develop and enhance them, Defense Ministry said in a statement.
For his part, Lt. Gen. Al-Khudr praised the deep relations between the two friendly countries.
The meeting was also attended by members of the Military Defense Council and senior officers from both sides. General Hayat, arrived in the country Sunday and his delegation for an official visit. (end) am.msa.ss
