S. Sudan economy receives USD600m donation from Sahara Energy


(MENAFN) South Sudan is receiving USD600 million from Dubai's Sahara Energy Resources DMCC in support of its bid to achieve sustained economic development.

Infrastructure development in South Sudan will also be supported by Sahara Energy DMCC along with youth encouragement.

Executive Director Temitope Shonubi confirmed that the firm extended the donation in line with its efforts to back sustainable growth within the African continent.

Shonubi added "Sahara Group has consistently advocated increased commitment to intra-Africa interventions through collaboration with all stakeholders. This, for us at Sahara, enhances the cause of giving wings to the aspirations of the continent's over 1.2 billion people."
