Iran to launch business offices in strategic nations


(MENAFN) Iran was announced to be planning to inaugurate business offices in several strategic regional countries with Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Turkey among them.

Minister of industry, mine and trade Reza Rahmani revealed the news while speaking to Iranian Ambassador to Oman Mohammadreza Nouri Shahroudi.

Fifteen countries in the region, the minister noted, accounted for 55 percent of Iranian non-oil exports.

Meanwhile, only 2 percent of the non-oil imports from the countries to Iran were registered, the minister pointed out before adding "we plan to increase the exports to five percent."
