London, April 09, 2019, SPA -- The ambassadors of the G19+ on Yemen praised here today the Saudi support for the Yemeni economy since the beginning of the Yemeni crisis.
"We appreciate the Saudi government's economic support for Yemen, including fuel subsidies and monthly financial support for the electricity sector and the Central Bank of Yemen, which has so far reached 3.2 billion U.S. dollars," the group said in a statement published by the British Government.
The group's ambassadors renewed their support for the UN-led political process and the efforts of its Special Envoy for Yemen Martin Griffith, calling for the implementation of the outcome of the Stockholm Arrangement.
The ambassadors of the group expressed appreciation of the support provided by the Government of the Republic of Yemen for the political process led by the United Nations and the efforts of the Central Bank of Yemen to manage the economy in the country.
