Malaysia: 11 die in bus crash


(MENAFN) Authorities declared that a bus with foreign laborers on board, heading to the MASKargo, the cargo arm of Malaysia Airlines (MAS), has fallen into a drain near the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), leaving 11 people dead.

KLIA district police chief Zulkifli Adamshah confirmed that the Malaysian driver has also been killed in the accident which took place late Sunday, as several more were wounded.

state news agency Bernama revealed that six victims have been pronounced dead on the site when the bus fell into the 20-meter deep drain, including g the bus driver, while others diedon their way to the hospital.

Zulkifli added that the victims were being taken from their hostel in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan state, to their work place when the collision took place.
