Riyadh, April 08, 2019, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Okaz newspaper commented in its editorial on the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the Arab summit hosted by Tunisia a few days ago, saying that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is exerting all its efforts in cooperation with Arab countries to support the economies of other Arab countries suffering from economic or security crises, while Iran is doing everything it can to sow strife and instigate chaos in societies in a number of Arab countries. The newspaper cited in this regard the grand Saudi support for Iraq.
Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the Saudi-Iraqi rapprochement, after a break lasted more than a quarter of a century, is manifested in the best form in the establishment of Joint Coordination Council between Riyadh and Baghdad to discuss the strengthening of the bonds of cooperation between the two countries in various fields. The newspaper noted that the Saudi-Iraqi rapprochement causes concern for the Iranian regime, which wanted to move its terrorist octopus in this country to maintain its economic crises.
