(MENAFN) China's Inner Mongolia region has reported on Saturday a case of human infection with the H7N9 bird flu virus.
The same bird flu has killed hundreds in the country during the winter of 2016/2017.
The patient, an 82-year-old man, was receiving treatment while local authorities disinfected his home and the surrounding area.
According to local government, people who had had contact with the man had shown "no abnormalities".
