Beirut, Apr 1, 2019, SPA -- Lebanese Premier Saad Al-Hariri received here today First Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Jürgen Rigterink and the accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the country.
In a press statement following the meeting, Rigterink reiterated full support for the premier, in his endeavors to lead with introducing bold reform agenda, notably in the fields of balancing the budget, fiscal policy and energy.
"We, just now, held a very good and constructive meeting with the premier, and as you know, we have already invested about 240 million euros, in seven projects, in Lebanon, last year, which was the first among our proposed operations' plan", he explained, concluding that "we will keep pace with such a tempo, during the next coming years".
