The award is an addition to the myriad of achievements that the airport has accomplished since its launch in November 2015.
Commenting on this new achievement Sheikh Hosni said, 'It is an honour for me and my fellow employees at Oman Airports to dedicate this prestigious achievement of Salalah Airport to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said in appreciation, gratitude and loyalty to his wise leadership and vision.'
Yafie said that Salalah Airport is equipped to receive all types of aircraft, whether domestic or flying from the regional countries or from Europe and Russia.
