The next shop "Azerbaijani gifts", which is aimed at promotion of "Made in Azerbaijan" products, was opened inRussian Yaroslavl.
The first presentation of the regional presentation of the project "Network of Azerbaijani stores" of theAzerbaijan's Trade Representative in Russiawas held for local entrepreneurs in the Yaroslavl Region of Russia on March 27 in the framework of the project "AzerbaijanTrade House".
The project is an integral part of the concept developed by the trade mission to form an integrated system to support Azerbaijani exporters and promote Azerbaijani products on the Russian market.
This system will include a permanent exhibition of Azerbaijan's export, investment and tourism potential, a specialized company for Azerbaijan's imports to Russia, and a network of stores "Azerbaijani gifts".
The shops"Azerbaijani gifts" will be opened by the local entrepreneurs, while the Azerbaijan Trade House will help to provide them with a wide range of Azerbaijani products.
It should be noted that the first shop 'Azerbaijani gifts was opened in the territory of "DEPO" grocery store in Moscow with the support of Azerbaijan's Trade Representative in Russia and the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO). The shop contains more than 200 items of goods from 15 manufacturers.
Azerbaijan's Trade Representative aims to form a system of distribution of Azerbaijani products in the Russian market for stimulation of export. The shops "Azerbaijani gifts" will carry out activities with the involvement of local entrepreneurs, the Trade House of Azerbaijan will also help in supplying the stores with a wide assortment of Azerbaijani goods.
It is planned to open several more 'Azerbaijani gifts shops in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk and Yaroslavl this year.
The Trade Houses engaged in the activities carried out within the expansion of the export of Azerbaijani products and promotion of the ‘Made in Azerbaijan' brand.
Launched in 2016, the Made in Azerbaijan brand envisages a large-scale promotion of local non-oil products in foreign markets.
At present, Azerbaijani trade houses are operating in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Poland and China. It is planned to open up to 10 Trade Houses in 2019.
Promotion of export-oriented local products under the Made in Azerbaijan brand in a wider geographic area also helps to attract foreign investment. The export of non-oil products will stimulate the expansion of the production of these products and will further strengthen the non-oil sector's share in the structure of the GDP.
