4 terrorists flee PKK camps in Iraq, surrender to Turkish forces

(MENAFN) On Wednesday, a total of four PKK terrorists surrendered to Turkish security forces in southeastern Sirnak province, according to a security source.

The terrorists escaped PKK camps in northern Iraq and surrendered at the Habur border gate in Silopi district, emphasized the source, who asked not to be named because of restrictions on talking to the media.

In its over 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK - considered as a terrorist group by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU - has been responsible for the killing of approximately 40,000 people, including women and children.
