(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Health Ministry of Ukraine begins cooperation with Switzerland in the field of medical education development.
Acting Health Minister of Ukraine UlanaSuprun and a representative of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Ukraine signed a memorandum today, the Health Ministry reported.
"On March 25, the Health Ministry of Ukraine and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation signed a memorandum of cooperation for 10 years. This is an important step for cooperation in the framework of the Ukrainian-Swiss project 'Development of Medical Education, the purpose of which is to help primary care physicians, nurses and managers of medical institutions study and provide better medical aid to their patients, the report says.
The project is implemented by the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (SwissTPH) and is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
According to UlanaSuprun, the project designed for 10 years will help implement consistent and institutional changes.
