MENAFN- Khaleej Times) His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, paid a visit to a local football player in hospital - a clip of the visit went viral on social media Sunday night.
Sheikh Mohammed visited Al-Jazeerah player, Ahmed Rabie, at Dubai's Rashid Hospital - where he is receiving medical care for an injury he got during a friendly match.
In a moving video of the visit, clips of the accident can also be seen, showing Rabie hitting a giant light pole as he got tackled during a football match.

Dubai Media Office also posted pictures of the visit.
Sheikh Mohammed has instructed the General Authority of Sports and concerned entities to ensure safety standards in UAEstadiums and sport facilities.
