(MENAFN) Rate of unemployment in Turkey recorded a 0.1 percent minor increase last year, compared to 2017 rate, to reach 11 percent.
Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) confirmed on Monday a boost of 83,000 jobless people last year to stand at 3.54 million.
According to TurkStat, a 0.1 percent raise was witnessed in the unemployment rate of males to hit 9.5 percent.
Meanwhile, TurkStat added, a 0.2 percent jump was marked in the unemployment rate of females to record 13.9 percent.
